The 160 kms of Algarve’s coastline offer some of Europe’s most spectacular beaches, many being holders of the prestigious Blue Flags. Choose from broad expanses of white sand, small cove beaches backed by red cliffs, beaches where cosmopolitan beach parties are a summer constant, to the pristine, deserted beaches of the Western Coast.

Away from the coastline with its modern resorts, it is worth exploring the inland regions with the lush vegetation of the Monchique Mountains, traditional villages like Alte and Cacela Velha and the small villages that dot the course of the River Guardiana such as Alcoutim.

The Algarve has something for everyone with the N125 and the A22 Motorway linking East and West Algarve together meaning the entire region of the Algarve is easily accessible to explore.
